Arabic Dance is my passion. I discovered Bellydance in 2000 when I was simply looking for something fun to do to keep fit. Then I fell in love. Everything about the dance entranced me from the music and movements to the empowerment and self discovery it gives to the wonderful group of women who study it. At this point a lifelong journey began. My study intensified and I began to learn other styles of Arabic Dance alongside Bellydance. I now perform as a solo artist (under the name Loveday) and with several dance groups. I also teach regular classes and workshops (know to my students as Anna Teed) with the aim of sharing the joys of Arabic dance with a wider audience. Trips to Egypt are an inspiration and keep me in touch with the true heart of the dance and by continuing my own studies I hope to bring even more to my audience and students.

Qualifications:

• Regular study of Bellydance and other forms of Arabic dance since 2000 with top UK dancers and International teachers including trips to study with Cairo's star performers
• Certified completion of the JWAAD Teacher Training Foundation Course

• CRB Approved
• Certificate of attendance for the study of Safe Exercise Practice for Older Adults
